01 · Commercial

Build-outs & ground-up

Retail storefronts, offices, restaurants and new commercial buildings. We build to a schedule your business can plan around, and we handle the commercial permitting and inspections that come with it.

02 · Metal buildings

Shops, barns, warehouses

From a backyard shop to a large red-iron commercial building. As a broker as well as a builder, Great Oaks secures pricing on the building package that a one-off buyer cannot — then erects and finishes it.

03 · Red-iron homes

Steel-framed residences

Red-iron custom homes engineered to withstand hurricane-force winds, with the interior finish of any Great Oaks home. The structure is steel; the house is yours.

What a metal building can be.

Building types
  1. Shops & garages. Roll-up doors, slab, lean-to porches — sized for the boat, the tractor or the collection.
  2. Barns & equestrian. Center-aisle barns, run-in sheds and covered arenas for the Pine Ridge and Floral City acreage.
  3. Commercial & warehouse. Clear-span red-iron buildings with office build-outs, bathrooms and finished interiors.
  4. Metal-building homes. Barndominiums and red-iron residences that read as houses inside and out, engineered for the storm.

Questions owners ask.

Q-01Do you supply the metal building, or just erect it?+

Both. Great Oaks brokers the building package — which is how we secure the best pricing in the county — and then builds it: site work, slab, erection, doors, and any interior finish or build-out you want.

Q-02Can a metal building be a home?+

Yes. Red-iron custom homes and barndominiums are steel-framed structures finished like any other Great Oaks home, and the steel frame is engineered to withstand hurricane-force winds.

Q-03What commercial work do you do?+

Retail storefronts, offices, restaurants and ground-up commercial buildings — in Inverness, Crystal River, Homosassa and across Citrus County — including the commercial permitting and inspections.

Q-04How do you keep a commercial job on schedule?+

The same way we keep a custom home on schedule: a written sequence at contract, Kurt on site, and Rebecca running the calendar. Your opening date is part of the plan, not a hope.

Need a building that works?

Tell us what the building has to do, and where. We will price the package and the build together.
